Hello, I'm Chinmayan. My journey from a Legal Profession with an M.Com and LLB to a successful rubber farmer has been transformative, and I hope it inspires young people to see the potential in agriculture. I chose not to pursue a legal career but to follow my passion for farming.
Embracing technology has been crucial to my success. In an industry where many face losses, I've turned my rubber plantation into a highly profitable venture by embracing advanced technologies like automated tapping systems, chaff cutters, portable milking machines, water bowls, SS milk cans, and fixed tape machines. These innovations have reduced human labor and increased profitability. Strategic planning is key to my success. My commerce background helps me stay informed about market trends, ensuring my produce fetches the best prices. I’ve diversified my plantation with complementary crops and livestock, providing a steady income. Sustainable practices are at the core of my farming, protecting the environment while enhancing productivity.
I believe farming is a rewarding profession. My transition from law to agriculture shows that with the right mindset, technology, and strategic planning, farming can be highly profitable. Through workshops and seminars, I share my experiences, aiming to inspire the next generation to embrace innovation in agriculture.
